My first adventure into the exciting world of game development began at a fledgling studio brimming with ambition. Basilbox were captivated by the social gaming phenomenon, particularly the immense popularity of Happy Farm with its 23 million daily active users.  Inspired by this trend, we embarked on creating a unique social network game with a twist: a massively multiplayer online game (MMO) set in the electrifying world of "clubbing in outer space."
In this game, players weren't just building farms or managing resources; they were crafting their own interstellar nightclubs! The core gameplay revolved around designing the hottest club in the ClubBox universe, attracting fellow players to visit and interact, fostering a vibrant online community.
As Creative Director at Basilbox, I spearheaded the transformation of a promising prototype into a market-ready game. This involved a complete overhaul of the user interface, ensuring a smooth and intuitive user experience.

Additionally, I designed a comprehensive set of modular graphic components, empowering players to create diverse and personalized in-game worlds. Furthermore, I oversaw the creation of a vast library of isometric shop items and avatar enhancements, enriching the gameplay experience for users.

Injecting Personality into the ClubBox Universe
Beyond the user experience, I brought the ClubBox universe to life by designing and animating all the characters: club-hopping aliens, friendly staff, and user avatars. I utilized a diverse animation toolkit, seamlessly blending hand-drawn charm, dynamic flash animation, and high-impact 3D rendered actions for a visually engaging experience.

I designed screen components such as icons, menus, and pop-ups as well as more heavy duty sections: the item shop, avatar shop, music player and playlists
